Checking a business name in New Hampshire
New Hampshire requires entity names to be distinguishable and corporations to use corporation, incorporated, limited, or the permitted abbreviation; LLCs must use an LLC designator. Capitalization, punctuation, spacing, and generic suffixes should not be assumed to cure a conflict. Registry acceptance does not clear trademark, trade-name, professional, or local rights.
